Beam Welding Operator/Welder

For our production department, we are looking for a Beam Welding Machine Operator. In this role, you will play an important part in the production process of our trailers. The beam welding machine is used to weld metal components onto steel strips. This process is partly automated, making your craftsmanship and attention to quality essential for achieving an excellent end result.

What will you do?

As a Beam Welding Operator/Welder, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and monitoring the welding process. You will ensure that components are correctly aligned and tack welded before the machine applies the final welds.

Your responsibilities include:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Aligning, positioning, and tack welding metal components on the beam bed.
Setting up the beam welding machine and welding parameters.
Inspecting the quality of welded joints.
Performing measurements and quality checks.
Working with lifting equipment and welding tools.
Identifying and resolving deviations in the production process.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

What do you bring?

MBO level of education and thinking, preferably in Metal Technology.
Experience with MIG/MAG welding (Level 1 or 2).
Good knowledge of welding techniques and welding sequences.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Experience working with lifting equipment and welding equipment.
Accuracy in measuring, inspecting, and quality control.
Good physical condition.
Proficiency in the Dutch language.
